Share only what you may share

You remain responsible: use lawful text that you own or are allowed to distribute. Review how content is processed in the privacy policy.

Protect every access value

Links and tokens can grant access: keep paste passwords, delete tokens, API tokens, and encrypted fragments out of public logs. See the security model.

Automate within documented limits

Scripts must share capacity fairly: honor rate limits, back off after HTTP 429, and never probe other users’ content. Start with the Pastebin API documentation.

Acceptable use

You may use Pastebin.ai to share lawful text and code that you have the right to distribute. You may not use the service for credential theft, malware delivery, harassment, doxxing, unlawful disclosure of personal data, copyright infringement, spam, fraud, security-control evasion, or attacks on people, accounts, devices, networks, or services. Public visibility must not be used to manufacture search pages or distribute repetitive promotional content.

Your content and permissions

You retain responsibility for the material you submit. By creating a paste, you give Pastebin.ai the limited permission needed to store, process, display, transmit, protect, and delete that material according to the settings you choose. This operational permission ends when the active copy is deleted, expires, or burns, subject to limited backup, security-log, abuse-investigation, and legal-retention requirements described in the privacy policy.

Accounts and access links

You are responsible for activity performed through your signed-in account, API tokens, delete tokens, paste passwords, and complete encrypted URLs. Keep these values out of public repositories and logs. An unlisted URL is an access path, not a confidentiality guarantee. Report a compromised token promptly and revoke any account API token that is no longer required.

Automated use and service protection

Reasonable API automation is permitted within documented limits. You may not bypass rate limits, probe for other users’ content, scrape protected surfaces, overload infrastructure, or interfere with availability. API clients must follow the published endpoint behavior and should back off when the service returns 429 Too Many Requests.

No secret-storage or backup warranty

The service is not a password manager, regulated archive, legal-hold system, source repository, or guaranteed backup. Expiration and burn-after-read cannot recall recipient copies. Browser encryption has specific limits explained in the security model. Keep authoritative copies of material you need and use a dedicated secret-management product for credentials or recovery material.

Availability and changes

Pastebin.ai is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, permanent compatibility, or indefinite retention. Features, limits, and these terms may change as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date on this page.

Enforcement and reports

We may restrict access, remove content, suspend automated traffic, preserve evidence, or cooperate with valid legal requests when reasonably necessary to protect the service and others. Decisions may consider content, behavior, technical signals, and credible reports. To report abuse, use the paste’s report action or contact [email protected] with the URL and relevant context.
